The product is a self-service forward pricing tool for utility suppliers. The features incorporated into JIMMI's technology solution include:

• A load profile-based pricing methodology. Profiles are the basic unit of measuring consumption in the retail electricity industry, both regulated and deregulated.
• Provision of on-line consumer self service.
• A simple means to price. In JIMMI this is performed using the Optimizer module, which is the subject of our patent.
• Compatibility with standard retail risk management practices utilizing forward pricing, which enables a transparent benchmark forward price to be established.
• Ability to be deployed as a separate tariff and contract management module within existing customer information systems.
• Support for demand-side participation using fixed volume contracts that can be sold back as offers and managed in a simple contract structure.
• Real-time interaction with industry ‘connection point’ and switching registries and with lines charge databases, so that common charges can be aggregated into the optimization process.
